At Buzzard Construction, we stand behind the quality of our work. Our goal is to deliver durable, professional results on every project. This page outlines the terms of our workmanship warranty so customers know exactly what is covered and how to request support.

1. Warranty Coverage

Buzzard Construction provides a 1-year workmanship warranty on all installations we perform. This warranty covers defects in the quality of our installation work only.

Covered:

  • Verified workmanship defects

  • Installation errors that affect the function or integrity of the work

  • Issues that can be clearly documented and attributed to our installation process

2. What Is NOT Covered

The following items fall outside the scope of our workmanship warranty and will not be eligible for free repair:

Not Covered:

  • Cosmetic concerns or personal preferences

​

  • Issues caused by normal wear and tear

​

  • Damage caused by homeowner use, pets, spills, or impact

​

  • Structural movement, settling, or pre-existing subfloor or framing conditions

​

  • Moisture-related issues occurring after installation

​

  • Issues appearing months after installation that cannot be clearly documented as an installation defect

​

  • Products or materials that fail due to manufacturer defects (manufacturer warranty applies)

3. Required Documentation for Warranty Review

Because we must follow a formal warranty process, all claims must include clear evidence demonstrating a workmanship defect.

Required for review:

  • Clear photos showing the exact issue
     

  • Optional video if the issue cannot be explained through photos alone
     

  • A description of when the issue was first noticed
     

  • Proof of original installation date
     

If a problem cannot be seen in a photo or video, it cannot be verified as a workmanship defect.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Request

All warranty claims must be submitted through our dedicated channel:

  • Photos/videos of the issue
     

  • A brief description of the concern
     

Once received, our team will review the documentation and determine whether the issue qualifies under the workmanship warranty.

5. When an On‑Site Visit Is Scheduled

We only schedule an in-person inspection after clear documentation shows a potential workmanship defect.

 

We do not dispatch crews for:

  • Undocumented issues
     

  • Cosmetic complaints
     

  • Homeowner-caused damage
     

  • Subfloor or structural movement issues
     

If documentation indicates a valid defect, Buzzard Construction will schedule a visit to verify and address the issue.

6. Manufacturer Warranties

Any failures due to product defects fall under the manufacturer’s warranty, not our workmanship warranty. We will provide support in navigating manufacturer claims when applicable.

7. Warranty Void Conditions

The workmanship warranty becomes void if:

  • Other contractors or individuals modify, repair, or alter our work
     

  • The structure or environment changes after installation
     

  • Damage occurs due to neglect, misuse, or improper maintenance
